2022 Zweck Gala Fashion Parade for Perth Children’s Hospital Foundation
Building on success and making a difference

Building on the success of previous years, Zweck is excited to announce the third Zweck Gala Fashion Parade for Perth Children’s Hospital Foundation (“PCHF”). This year’s event will take place from 6.30pm on Saturday 8 October 2022 at the University Club at UWA in Crawley and hopes to raise a further $50,000 to support PCHF. Previous events have already raised in excess of $50,000, thanks to the generous contributions from sponsors and participants.

In 2019, the inaugural Zweck Gala Fashion Parade in 2019 raised over $21,000 and last year’s event raised a further $30,000 for the PCHF. All funds have been put to great use in Perth Children’s Hospital’s innovative music therapy program. Music therapy has been shown to be of enormous benefit to seriously ill children and Zweck is excited to contribute to this amazing cause.

    About Zweck

Zweck is a Western Australian fashion house with innovative, stylish and highly- wearable designs. Founder Klara Forrest explains the name Zweck was chosen because it means “Purpose” – and this is a guiding principle behind the brand. Part of Zweck’s purpose is to make a positive difference – to the lives of children affected by illness and also to women who want to express themselves with unique and original fashion.

Zweck Gala Fashion Parades are a celebration of the women that wear Zweck garments – and previous events have featured women from all walks of life as “real life” models – in addition to professional models.

The third Zweck Gala Fashion Parade for PCHF will feature over forty wonderful women wearing bespoke outfits that celebrate their individuality and style. The Fashion Parade will be showcasing some stand-alone pieces designed individually and exclusively for the models and some of the extremely versatile Zweck Spring/Summer collection 2022-2023.

A declaration of modern, innovative and feminine silhouettes with beautiful pieces that will take you from desk to dinner, beach to ball and more!

    About PCHF

Perth Children’s Hospital Foundation fuels the fight at the frontline of children’s healthcare, to help children get well and stay well. PCHF is the official and largest funder of Perth Children’s Hospital (PCH) and the wider Child and Adolescent Health Service (CAHS) after government. Thanks to the wonderful generosity of donors in the past 25 years over $92 million has been contributed, with a further $21 million committed over the next five years.

These magnificent efforts enable PCH and CAHS to ensure WA’s sick children and young people are closer to having access to world-class care. Beyond funding ground-breaking research, innovative technology and equipment, education and training programs and world-class expertise, we support positive patient experiences.

Hospitals can be a frightening place for children and their families. Positive patient experience is related to children experiencing less anxiety, creating positive memories of their visit, and enhancing positive self esteem. Our generous donors enable us to fund educational materials and therapeutic experiences for patients and their families.

Children are at the heart of what we do—and their happiness always comes first.

About this year’s event – the third Zweck Gala Fashion Parade for PCHF

The centrepiece of this year’s exclusive event will be the Gala Fashion Parade and if you are interested in kick-starting your modelling career, please get in touch - because there are still a few spots available. Models are drawn from all walks of life and you will have the opportunity to acquire a bespoke, unique piece from Zweck – and to strut your stuff on the catwalk at the event!

If you are interested, contact Klara Forrest by phone on +61 433143524 or by email info@zweckaustralia.com

The evening will commence with pre-dinner drinks and a selection of boutique “pop- up” displays by sponsors Pinnacle Jewellers and Carmen Jewellers, Purple Reign winery and their surprise gifts for each and every guest. Pool Controls has been sponsoring for two consecutive years.

The Porsche Club is once again supporting the Zweck Gala Fashion Parade for PCHF and members will be arriving in style ( in their Porsches) which will be displayed in front of the University Club.

Guests will partake of a sumptuous three-course dinner showcasing Western Australian produce and prepared by the University Club’s internationally trained chefs.

Enjoy the excitement of the live auction conducted by one of the best Perth auctioneers with some amazing items or try your luck with the raffle of another stunning piece by our generous sponsor and amazing jewellery designer, Keiko Uno.

For those who love strategy, there will also be a silent auction of intriguing gifts, adventures and experiences - then dance the night away with live band “Jim Jam”.

If Group’s performance is commercially impracticable (as defined above) because of the COVID-19 global pandemic, Group may notify Hotel in writing and the parties will either:

    (1) negotiate in good faith in an effort to reach an amendment to this Agreement setting forth any agreed-upon adjustments to accommodate the circumstances. These may include decreasing Group’s room or food and beverage revenue commitments, increasing permissible attrition and addressing any concessions or amenities contingent on revenue commitments or

    (2) postpone the event to future dates without penalty or

    (3) If the parties are not able to reach an agreement on postponement or an amendment to the Agreement, then Group may terminate this Agreement.
