This month’s midweek drive includes a few adventures around tranquil Kings Park, starting at Wadjuk Carpark, near the Botanical Cafe and finishing at The Camfield, in Burswood.
WHEN: Wednesday 23rd August 2023 MEETING TIME: 10am MEETING POINT: Wadjuk Carpark, May Dr, Kings Park DRIVING TIME: 35 minutes, not including stops - in light traffic (approx. 20 km) FINAL DESTINATION: 12.30pm lunch @ The Camfield - 1 Roger Mackay Dr, Burswood The Camfield is named after the landowner, Henry Camfield, who settled in the area in 1829. Nestled at the base of Optus Stadium, on the bank of Swan River, we will enjoy its front row seat of the city skyline and the stunning Matagarup Bridge.
