SSR6 – WANNEROO RACEWAY SPRINT

This is a PCWA invited event hosted by the HSV Owners Club of WA and you must register and pay via the HSV Owners Club W.A. site (links below).

Please register here on the PCWA site for CLUB RECORDS ONLY. Registering here also lets your fellow members that you are attending the event.

For those that have not previously attended a round run by HSVOCWA, you will need to register on the HSV Owners Club Web Site to be able to register for the event. Click on "Register" (top right), then scroll down to "Partner Club Member" and click "Sign Up". Those that have previously registered do not need to register again, simply login using your previous "username" and "password".

If you are not familiar with the PCWA series requirements, please see "How to join PCWA Sports Series". Please ensure that you fill out the PCWA Sports Series Vehicle Disclosure Form to join the series. Email the completed form to sportingevents@porscheclubwa.org.au

  • Scrutiny: 7:15AM - 8:15AM
  • Track Inspection: 8:00AM - 8:15AM
  • Drivers Briefing: 8:15AM - 8:30AM
  • Officials in Place: 8:30AM - 8:40AM
  • New Driver Training: 8:40AM - 9:00AM
  • Session 1: 9:15AM - 12:00PM
  • Lunch Break: 12:00PM - 12:30PM
  • Session 2: 12:30PM - 4:30PM
  • Event Concludes: 4:30PM

  • No more than 2 entries per car will be accepted.
  • All documentation including Supplementary Regulations is available from the HSV registration page

PCWA members do not need day membership of the HSV Owners Club to compete.

New Registration Process.

The HSV Club is moving to an all online entry process which included a self-scrutiny checklist along with other fields which are compulsory to fill in. Only once you have completed all questions will your entry be lodged. This will eliminate the need for a lengthy sign in process at the event and will be COVID safe as well. Please note the following: 

  1. Ensure that your registration includes ALL sections and details filled out as required.
  2. Upload a copy of your Motorsport License, this can be kept in your profile on the HSV website.


This is a speed event which means you will be racing the clock to get your best lap time for the day on the long track!

Requirements for this event will be the same as our normal club events

1. Licence requirements: Level 2 Speed CAMS license: go to www.motorsport.org.au to see the application form. Alternatively, an AASA day license is available for $25.00 from HSVOCWA.

2. ASA Approved helmet that meets the Australian Standard AS1698 (other acceptable overseas standards are SFI24.1, SA2000, E22 & BS6658-85) these are available at motorbike or speed shops.

3. Clothing needs to be wrist to neck to ankle, flammable synthetic material is not acceptable. Cotton is recommended.

Fully enclosed footwear is required. No thongs, sandals or high heeled boots/shoes are allowed.

4. Fire extinguisher fitted to your vehicle, NO new holes need to be drilled in your car, existing seat bolts are utilised and the frame & bottle can be easily removed when not needed. Extinguisher needs to meet Australian Standard AS1841 and be 900g minimum capacity. It needs to be firmly secured and must be not more than 3 years old.

5. Visible tow points/hook(s) front and rear, where they are not visible they need to be marked with the word “Tow”. Stickers are available from race shops such as Go Gear for this. Porsche tool kits have a tow hook which is acceptable

6. Display a blue triangle (sides 150mm) indicating the location of the battery and the battery must be firmly secured. Stickers are available from race shops such as Go Gear for this, alternatively electrical tape can be used to mark out a triangle.

7. Glass headlights need to have an adhesive cover or tape fitted to prevent the spillage of glass onto the track.

8. All vehicles must be fitted with an effective muffler which diminishes the sound of the engines exhaust.
