PORSCHE AND STEAM
Back to history with the Dwellingup Steam Ranger
For the June social run, we will travel back in time on the Hotham Valley Railway’s Steam Ranger train from Dwellingup to Isandra Siding (return trip) in the beautiful Darling Escarpment, along an old timber loggers railway.
There will be a licensed cafe car serving various refreshments for your enjoyment while you take in the spectacular views.
The draft plan for the day is outline below:
We will meet early for coffee somewhere south of the river, before doing a short drive to Dwellingup (we need to reach there at 10am for the train ride).
After the train ride, we will proceed to the Waypoints Cafe for lunch at 12.30pm.
If you don’t want to participate in the train ride, you can always just join us for the drive or lunch only.
For those who are interest to join the train ride, please ensure you pay via the PCWA Wildapricot website by 16 May. Hotham Valley Railway has requested that payment be received before allocating seats for PCWA due to the popularity of this activity (it only runs in the cooler months). If the train ride does not go ahead, your payment will be refunded. Once booked, we cannot guarantee that your payment can be refunded.
Registration is required to receive run sheet for the event.
Registration and payment due on 16 May 2021.
