PORSCHES & PLANES
With multiple events happening in Perth, we will take the opportunity to take part and combine two for an interesting PCWA club event.
We will start from the German Car Day in East Perth to admire the best of German engineering and enjoy a coffee prior to departing to attend the Sports Aircraft Builders Club of WA Annual Fly-In at Serpentine Airfield.
The Fly-in is a special “invitation only” event that is not advertised to the public and the organisers of the Fly-in have planned a huge range of interesting aircraft that will be on display. There will be food for purchase, lots of interesting ground displays with the opportunity to get up close and personal with the planes and talk to their owners. There will not be a scheduled flying display but traditionally many pilots have displayed their aircraft in the air on the day.
On the day, entry to German Car Day is $5 per car with part proceeds to Wheels for Hope and for the Fly-in, there is no entry fee but they are a not for profit organisation and a donation at the gate to help with the cost of the event is greatly appreciated.
As we cannot give you details on the food for purchase you may wish to pack a picnic.
