Registration

  • You register via the PCWA website. Then enter and pay via the HSV Club of WA website. Price is $160 for the event plus $20 for Dorian hire if you don't have your own.

Round 8, the final round of the 2017 Sports Series is at Collie and is on Sunday 12 November 2017.  We have joined forces with the HSV club who are running the event.

Registration for this event is on a first come first served basis and PCWA have 30 Entries available.

We are expecting a sell out so confirmed places will be based on received payments.  It is strongly suggested that you register and pay by credit card without delay to secure your place.

This is a speed event which means you will be racing the clock to get your best lap time for the day on the long track! 

The Sunday sprint event counts as the final round of our Sports Series.  The cost of the Sunday sprint is $180.  This includes the Dorian hire of $20.  If you have your own Dorian it will be $160. PCWA members do not need day membership of the HSV Club.

Registration needs to be done on the HSV Club of WA website with registration on the PCWA site for record purposes.

Accommodation: We have a number of rooms reserved for us at the Collie Ridge Motel. Call the Motel directly - 9734 6666 to reserve a room & mention PCWA when you book! 

Plan to book a meal at the Restaurant on Saturday night - let them know you're part of PCWA - Drinks for those that want at 6:00pm and then let's eat at 7:00pm.

The canteen at the track will be open on both Saturday and Sunday.

Scrutineering

Scrutineering will be at the track prior to the event, see the HSV site for details.

Requirements for this event will be the same as our normal club events

1.   Licence requirements: Level 2 Speed Cams licence go to www.cams.com.au to see the application form.


2.   ASA Approved helmet that meets the Australian Standard AS1698    (other acceptable overseas standards are SFI24.1, SA2000, E22 & BS6658-85) these are available at motorbike or speed shops.

3.   Clothing needs to be wrist to neck to ankle, flammable synthetic material is not acceptable.  Cotton is recommended.

4.   Fire extinguisher fitted to your vehicle, NO new holes need to be drilled in your car, existing seat bolts are utilised and the frame & bottle can be easily removed when not needed.  Extinguisher needs to meet Australian Standard AS1841 and be 900g minimum capacity.  It needs to be firmly secured and must be not more than 3 years old.

5.   Visible tow points/hook(s) front and rear, where they are not visible they need to be marked with the word “Tow”.  Stickers are available from race shops such as Go Gear for this.  Porsche tool kits have a tow hook which is acceptable

6.   Display a blue triangle (sides 150mm) indicating the location of the battery. Stickers are available from race shops such as Go Gear for this, alternatively electrical tape can be used to mark out a triangle.

7.   Glass headlights need to have an adhesive cover or tape fitted to prevent the spillage of glass onto the track.
