DRIVER DEVELOPMENT TRAINING DAY
- MONDAY 1st NOVEMBER 2021 -
Following the great response from the Expression of Interest last month we are happy to confirm that we have now locked in a Driver Development Training event together with Arise Racing, to be held at Wanneroo Raceway on Monday 1st November 2021.
If you have ever wondered what it might be like to take your car onto the track, or for those track warriors who have longed to improve your corner lines and braking points, but never had a professional to tell you how, then this Driver Development Training day is just the event for you. You don’t even need to bring a Porsche - any brand is very welcome.
This event will consist of:
There will be shared wood fire pizza lunch between 12pm – 1pm for all attendees. Please advise in your entry if you have any dietary constraints.
The training will include private one-on-one in car coaching - there will be 6 coaches provided, offering expert advice on how to drive your car on the track in a safe environment.
You can bring your own helmet, but don’t worry if you don’t have one as Arise can provide helmets too. Dress code is long sleeved cotton top and long cotton pants and enclosed shoes. Arise will also provide full track support including pit-lane management and tyre pressure monitoring.
Please make sure your vehicle is in track-worthy condition, in particular the brakes pads and tyre tread, as your car will be getting a bit of a work-out. Arise will perform a car safety check prior to allowing you out onto the track.
The costs for this event are as follows:
There will be a minimum of 12 drivers per session, with a maximum of 18 per session, so there will be plenty of track time and instruction time. A wait list will be set up if we are over-subscribed.
- Each registration form allows for 2 drivers/cars to register per session.
- Multiple registrations for this event have been enabled which will allow the primary member to register themselves for the morning session and their partner for the afternoon or vice versa just by going back to the registration page and creating a second registration.
- For the really keen you can register for both sessions by going back to the registration page and creating a second registration.
Closing date for registrations is Monday 25th October 2021. As we are expecting strong demand for this event, please ensure you register early.
If you have any questions, then feel free to contact me via email or mobile.
