Serpentine Annual Fly-in 2017
The PCWA has been invited to attend the Sports Aircraft Association’s Annual Fly-In at Serpentine airfield. This is a fantastic event where Porsche Club Members are invited to park and picnic at the Serpentine airfield and watch the most beautiful classic, home-built, WW2 and modern performance aircrafts in action.
This year, our long time member - and aviation enthusiast - Bob Hall will be leading the charge in getting us there for the event. Meeting in Mundijong, Bob will take us on some lovely back roads with the journey culminating at the Serpentine Airfield for the fly-in festivities.
If you ask Bob nicely, he might even detour to the Jarrahdale General Store so coffee desperadoes could stop for a caffeine recharge enroute to the destination!
Sandwiches, a sausage sizzle, cakes, tea, coffee and soft drinks will be available for purchase throughout the day from the Serpentine Clubhouse. There will also be a coffee van and an ice cream van on site.
Guests may prefer to pack their own picnic. It is a good idea to bring your own chairs and rugs.
