Soulful and Purposeful Driving

- Edward Roose's Special Run to Collie -

Please note catering deadline: if you're joining us for the BBQ dinner at Collie Ridge on Friday 21 April - please register to this run (yourself and any guests) by Monday 17 April.

There has never been a better time to take a day off than “The Collie Weekend Friday”!

This year PCWA member Edward Roose will be hosting a full day of Soulful and Purposeful driving with Collie being our ultimate destination.

The day will be split into 2 bespoke driving sessions, with a secret country pub lunch in between.

Stage one morning session - 8.30am for a 9.30 start

Encounter “Soulful Driving” (around 140ks)

This part of our day is dedicated to getting in touch with your Porsche by feeling the way it reacts to different road surfaces.

In the morning we will be taking in open roads a good time to sit back and listen to some tunes and take in the scenery!

Then the G-forces will start to pickup later in the morning which will offer members the best back way to feel the engineering built into your Porsche!

After our Lunch, Fuel & Rest Stop we will hit the road for the afternoon session! Start time around 1.30pm

Stage time for some “Purposeful Driving” (around 175ks)

This part of our drive sees us take in the most stunning B roads which should see us arrive in Collie at around late afternoon.

Your Porsche will respond to this part of the day with child like exuberance but you need to keep it real and keep a lid on things because the scenery is worth it!

Once we arrive in Collie you can check into the Collie Ridge Motel (make sure you book!) at leisure.

We’ll see you around the BBQ area of the hotel at around 6.30pm for the usual club BBQ and Drinkies.

Please make sure you have registered also for the Friday evening BBQ & Drinks (catered for by the club) for catering purposes!

The meeting point will be emailed to all registrants closer to the day and there will be course routes handed out on the day.

See you there and make sure you have a FULL TANK, it’s going to be a soulful day of driving pleasure!

Accommodation: Call the Collie Ridge Motel directly - 9734 6666 to reserve a room & mention PCWA when you book (10% discount for members).
